The Tsinghua Smart Lion team consists of the students from Tsinghua University School of Vehicle and Transportation and Tsinghua University Computer Department. The team won the gold medal of the 2021 World Intelligent Driving Challenge Extreme, the 2019i-VISTA Automatic Driving Challenge Competition, the first prize of the City Traffic Scene Challenge Competition. 2018 World Intelligent Driving Challenge intelligent assistant group / driverless group urban block scene competition / driverless group urban block scene competition leader award, 2017 China smart car future challenge urban and rural road test competition first, 2017 China smart car competition driverless group leader award and other competition achievements.

The High-precision Autonomous Cognitive Mobile Platform Based On Multi-modal Perception developed by the team won the gold award at the 48th Geneva International Invention Exhibition in 2021.
